Our Story
More About Us
This journey is not about us; it’s about obedience to God’s call.
In 2023, while driving through Somerset West, Cape Town, I, Quintin Kellerman, experienced a life-changing moment. In the midst of the journey, I felt a clear and undeniable prompting from God: “What are you going to do about the issue of sanitary pads in South Africa?” It was in that moment that I knew God was calling me to take action.
The issue was vast—over seven million girls in South Africa miss school every month due to the lack of access to sanitary pads. I felt deeply moved by the Spirit, realizing that this was not just a social issue but a Kingdom issue. God was urging us to restore dignity to these young women, to give them a chance to continue their education without shame or hindrance.
I shared this burden with a close friend, and to my amazement, he had felt the same prompting. We knew this was not coincidental but a confirmation that God wanted us to respond to this crisis. Together, we launched a project with a vision rooted in faith and obedience.
We see this as more than just a business; it’s a mission. Our goal is to partner with others to bring biodegradable sanitary pads to those who need them most. Currently, we are working with a company that imports these pads from Tanzania, and our mission is to ensure they become widely available to girls and women across South Africa.
But we knew from the start that this project had to be about more than just meeting a physical need—it had to be about honoring God. That’s why we made a bold decision: God owns 51% of this project. This means that 51% of the income goes directly back into making these products available to girls and women who cannot afford them.
This journey is not about us; it’s about obedience to God’s call. We are simply following the path He has laid out for us, trusting that through this project, countless lives will be touched and transformed.
